Chicago Fiddle Camp has come and gone! Thanks to everyone who attended, and to the Chicago Waldorf School for hosting it. It felt good and we’d like to do it again next year…

I return to Crossings on St. Patrick’s Day for my fourth show there.  In the past I’ve played there with the Piper’s Crow and the Orange Mighty Trio and it’s always enjoyable, a friendly place with good audiences. They have a cool art center/gift shop combination, including a clay studio!

Our good friend Martha is hosting a concert for us again, this time at her floral studio on University in St. Paul. Martha creates some amazing floral arrangements, decorations and so forth for weddings and events. This venue is sure to be in a nice-looking!

Martha writes: I invite you into my studio for a magical evening of music under the flowers! I am hosting the Orange Mighty Trio
This is a highly spirited group of musicians on their way to a bright future. They will entertain and delight us all! I invite you at 7:00 pm to browse, and enjoy refreshments. We will be swept away into the world of their music at 8:00 pm as the concert begins.
In the spirit of giving and receiving, a $12 donation is suggested with an item for the food shelves. Please come and bring friends!
